Chicken and Dumplings

Boil chicken.
Strip off bone and place chicken pieces in broth.
In another pan, mix together the flour, salt, broth and Crisco.
Roll out on floured board, into thin (like noodles) 2-inch strips.
Heat remaining broth to boiling.
Drop in dumplings.
Add 1/2 cup of milk; salt and pepper to taste.
Boil for 10 minutes.
Leave lid off to keep dumplings from becoming soggy.
