Chicken and "Slick" Dumplings
Chicken And "Slick" Dumplings is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (5 lb.) hen or 2 medium size chickens, 2 c. self-rising flour, 1/4 c. oil, 3/4 c. boiling water (real hot tap water will work) and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook chicken or chickens in boiling salted water until tender. Remove from broth.
Let chicken cool.
Debone and set aside.
Put chicken back into broth and bring to a boil.
