Chili Con Queso
Chili Con Queso is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in just 42 minutes. Made with (2 lb.) loaf velveeta cheese, medium chopped onion, medium chopped green pepper, large chopped tomato and jar picante sauce (mild or hot), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cut loaf of Velveeta into slices and put in a large bowl. Saute vegetables in 1/4 cup of oleo until tender.
Add to cheese. Add 3/4 to 1 cup picante.
Place bowl in microwave and heat, stirring occasionally until melted to a medium consistency.
Serve with your favorite nacho chips.
