Christmas Meatballs
Christmas Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. lean hamburger, 1/4 lb. ground pork, 1 egg, enough corn flakes or wheaties for binder (approximately 1/2 c.) and enough ??? for moistening (approximately 1/4 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown meatballs in shortening.
Drain and then cook in roast beef gravy or great gravy for meatballs.
If making large amount, place in roaster and roast in 350Β° oven until meat is cooked through.
At Christmas, our family places one meatball on a piece of buttered lefse, with a small amount of gravy, rolls it up and enjoys.
