Christmas Sugar Cookies

Thoroughly mix shortening, egg, sugar, sour cream and vanilla.
Then add flour, salt, soda and nutmeg that have been sifted together.
Let dough chill 1 hour in refrigerator.
When chilled roll out and cut out with your favorite cutters.
Put on aluminum foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes or until lightly brown around edges.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
