Christmas White Fudge
Christmas White Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/3 c. white corn syrup, 2 tbsp. butter and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine sugar, sour cream, syrup, butter and salt in saucepan. Bring to a boil slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring (cover saucepan) for 3 minutes over medium heat to 236Β° on candy thermometer or soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Let stand 15 minutes.
Do not stir.
Add vanilla. Beat until mixture starts to lose gloss or for about 8 minutes.
Stir in cherries and nuts.
Pour quickly into greased shallow pan (9 x 9-inch).
Cool and cut into squares.
