Country Fried Chicken
Country Fried Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 1 chicken (cut up), 1 3/4 cup crisco, 1 stick oleo and flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Wash and pat dry chicken.
Roll in flour.
Put in 350 degree skillet with the skin side down.
Fry till brown, turn and add salt.
Put lid on skillet and fry until other side is brown.
Fry about 1/2 hour.
During the last 11 minutes remove the lid and let the chicken cook with the skin side up.
