Crisp Sugar Cookies
Crisp Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 5 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
Cover and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.
On a floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
Cut out cookies into desired shapes and place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes, or until edges are slightly browned.
Yields 8 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
