Crock Pot Green Beans
Crock Pot Green Beans is an moderately easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 3 cans whole del monte green beans, drained, 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp, crumbled, 1/2 c. vinegar, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 onion, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Drain beans.
Place in crock pot.
Top with sliced onion and crumbled bacon.
In small sauce pan, combine bacon grease, sugar, vinegar and water. Bring to boil and pour over beans.
Cook on low 4 or 5 hours.
If you do not have a crock pot, cook in dutch oven for 45 minutes.
