English Muffin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix together 3 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda.
Heat milk and water to warm; add to dry ingredients.
Mix well with an electric mixer.
Stir in the remaining flour.
Oil 2 bread pans; sprinkle with cornmeal.
Divide mixture into the 2 pans; let rise 45 minutes.
(Cover loosely while rising.)
Bake at 400Β° for 25 minutes.
