Freezer Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 1/2 green pepper, 6 small carrots, 1 tsp. salt and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Shred the vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt.
Let stand 1 hour. Drain mix if water accumulates.
Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil 3 minutes.
Pour over cabbage mixture. Stir well.
Freeze in plastic bags or chill overnight to serve. Freezes up to 3 months.
