Freezer Slaw
Freezer Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 lb. cabbage, shredded, 3 tbsp. salt (non-iodized), 2 stems chopped celery, 2 bell peppers, chopped and 5 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sprinkle cabbage with salt.
Let stand 1 hour.
Add celery and green peppers; let stand 20 minutes longer.
Drain well.
Combine sugar, water, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed.
Bring to a good boil.
Pour over cabbage mixture and mix well.
Cool well. Put in freezer containers and freeze.
