French Dip Sandwiches
French Dip Sandwiches is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 to 4 lb.) lean beef roast, 1/2 c. soy sauce, 1 beef bouillon cube, 1 bay leaf and 3 to 4 whole peppercorns, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Remove all fat from roast and put roast in slow cooker. Combine all remaining ingredients except bread and pour over roast. Add water to almost cover roast.
Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or until tender.
Remove meat from broth; reserve broth. Shred meat with a fork.
Cut rolls in halves, spread with butter and grill until brown.
Place meat on rolls; dip in reserved broth while eating.
