French (Egg) Pancakes (Crepes)(Tomahawk'S Version Of Crepe Suzette) is an easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 1/2 c. flour, milk, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix thoroughly until smooth, using just enough milk to make batter a little thicker than heavy cream.
Fry in shortening or cooking oil over high heat.
(Pour about 1/4 cup of batter in center of a 10-inch heavy skillet, tilting pan so that batter forms a thin layer over entire bottom of pan.)
Fry for about 1/2 minute or until light brown and edges start to curl.
Flip over and fry for another 1/4 minute.
Spread with about a tablespoon of butter, let melt and sprinkle with sugar.
