Fried Green Tomatoes is an easy dinner. Made with several green tomatoes, 1 c. cornmeal, with salt and pepper and 4 to 5 tbsp. margarine or olive oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Slice tomatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices. Dip tomato slices in milk. Coat both sides of tomato in cornmeal mixture.
Lightly shake off excess.
Heat margarine or olive oil on medium to high heat. Fry tomatoes on both sides until golden brown.
Place on plate with paper towel.
