Frozen Cole Slaw
Frozen Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium head cabbage, 1 tsp. salt, 3 ribs chopped celery, 1/2 green pepper, chopped and 1 c. white vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Chop or shred cabbage; sprinkle with salt.
Let stand 1 1/2 hours.
Squeeze liquid out.
Mix cabbage, celery and pepper.
Mix vinegar, water, sugar, celery and mustard seed in saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Boil 1 minute.
Pour over cabbage mixture.
Place in small containers and freeze.
Thaw in refrigerator and serve very cold.
