Fruit Swirl Coffee Cake
Fruit Swirl Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Generously grease jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch. Beat sugar, margarine, shortening, baking powder, vanilla, almond extract and eggs in large bowl on low speed.
Beat on high speed 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
Stir in flour.
Spread two-thirds of batter in pan.
Spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter by tablespoon onto pie filling.
Bake about 45 minutes or until light brown in 350Β° oven.
While warm, drizzle with glaze.
