Fruited Wild Rice Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1-1/4 c. hot water and 3/4 c. uncooked wild rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a large saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter until tender.
Stir in the water, rice and bouillon; bringing to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 50-55 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Remove from the heat; fold in the apple, pecans and lemon peel if desired.
