Hot Taco Salad
Hot Taco Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, 4 tomatoes, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 small onion, chopped and 1/2 green pepper, diced fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Break lettuce into large bowl and add tomato wedges.
Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper.
Add seasonings to taste (salt, pepper and garlic salt).
Over very low heat, heat cheese and mushroom soup until cheese is smooth, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle ground beef on top of lettuce and tomatoes, then crumble Fritos on top.
Pour cheese sauce over salad and toss.
Serve with hard rolls.
