"Italiano" Spaghetti Sauce
"Italiano" Spaghetti Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin, 2/3 c. olive oil, 6 to 8 medium cloves garlic, 3 (13 oz.) cans tomato sauce and 3 (13 oz.) cans water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In large pot, brown ground sirloin, olive oil and minced garlic together.
Add tomato sauce and water when browned.
Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
Reduce to a simmer.
Simmer at least 3 hours (6 is better).
Serve over 1 pound of cooked spaghetti.
Enjoy with tossed green salad and garlic toast. Serves 4 to 6.
