Jambalaya
Jambalaya is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 26 minutes. Made with . meat*, to 3 c. chopped onions, garlic, bell peppers and/or celery (any combination), bay leaves, of thyme and cayenne pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook meat in large iron pot.
Remove and drain all but 2 tablespoons of grease.
Add chopped onions, bell pepper, garlic and celery.
Cook until soft.
Add spices, tomatoes, rice and beer. Add meat and then enough water to cover rice, about 1-inch.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and cover.
Cook until rice is done, about 30 to 40 minutes.
