Marinated Cole Slaw
Marinated Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cabbage, thinly sliced, 2 onions, sliced, 7/8 c. sugar, 1 c. vinegar and 3/4 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a saucepan, combine 1 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup oil, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1 teaspoon celery seed and 1 tablespoon salt; bring to a boil.
In a bowl, combine cabbage and onions (sliced).
Toss with 7/8 cup sugar.
Pour mixture over cabbage and onions.
Toss while cooling.
Cover and store in refrigerator.
Lasts 1 to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
It is better after it marinates 24 hours.
