Mom's Chili
Mom'S Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped, 1 clove garlic or 1 shake garlic powder and 1 slice bacon, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oil.
Add onion, green pepper, garlic, bacon and ground beef.
Brown and drain fat.
Add tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper and chili powder.
Cook (simmer) 1 hour.
Add beans in the last 15 minutes. May add celery.
