Mountain Pie
Mountain Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 stick of oleo, 1 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt oleo in a loaf pan.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar well before adding the milk.
Pour on top of that melted oleo.
Add fruit sweetened to taste.
My favorite is strawberries, rhubarb and raspberries.
Peaches can be used.
Bake 15 minutes in a 400° oven.
Reduce heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes.
