Mrs. Eunice's Apple Dumplings

Peel, core and cut apple into 8 wedges.
Place one wedge on each triangle of crescent roll, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, roll up and place in 8 x 10 x 2 inch pyrex dish.
Mix together water, margarine and sugar, bring to boil stirring constantly. Pour over top of apple roll-ups.
Sprinkle 1 tsp. cinnamon over top and bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
