Oatmeal Muffins
Oatmeal Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 3/4 tsp. soda and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Spoon flour into measuring cup and level off.
Pour into mixing bowl.
Add sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in well to blend.
Cut in shortening until mixture is fine.
Stir in oats.
Add egg and milk, stirring just until ingredients are moistened.
Fill paper lined muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 425Β° for 18 to 20 minutes.
Serve warm.
