Old-Fashioned Strawberry Ice Cream
Old-Fashioned Strawberry Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. fresh strawberries, 2 eggs, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 2 c. half and half and 1/4 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Wash strawberries.
Remove and discard caps.
PurΓ©e berries in blender or food processor; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
Beat in sugar, half and half, vanilla and whipping cream.
Stir in blended strawberries.
Pour into ice cream canister.
Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
Makes about 2 quarts.
