Oven Barbecued Venison
Oven Barbecued Venison is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. venison roast, 1/2 c. bacon drippings, 1 clove garlic, minced, 3 c. water and 2 c. barbecue sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Season roast with salt and pepper and brown in bacon fat with garlic.
Drain off fat.
Bake at 350Β° for 3 hours or until tender. Remove meat from pan and add rest of ingredients to juices. Remove to oven 1 hour or until thickened.
Slice meat, then add back to sauce and bake 30 minutes more.
Serve with rolls.
