Pepper Steak Stir-Fry
Pepper Steak Stir-Fry is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 bag uncle ben's boil in a bag rice (family size), 1 tbsp. margarine, 3/4 lb. beef top sirloin, cut in thin strips, 1 tsp. minced garlic and 1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook rice according to package directions.
While rice is cooking, melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and garlic.
Cook and stir 2 minutes; push to one side. Add mushrooms.
Cook and stir 1 minute.
Add pepper strips, broth, pepper and salt.
Cook and stir until peppers are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.
Stir in green onions.
Serve over hot, cooked rice.
Serves 2 to 4.
