Pretzel Rolls
Pretzel Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. warm water, 1 pkg. dry active yeast, 3 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 2 1/2 tbsp. butter (at room temperature), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place water in electric mixer bowl.
Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved.
Add sugar, salt, butter, 1/2 beaten egg and 1 1/2 cups flour.
Beat at medium speed until smooth.
Work in as much of the remaining flour as is necessary to make a stiff dough. Cover bowl with aluminum foil; refrigerate for 4 hours.
