Quick Jambalaya
Quick Jambalaya is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped, 2 cups cooked rice, 1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained, chopped and 1 cup medium salsa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In large skillet, combine oil, onion, & green pepper.
Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until onion & peppers are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in chicken, rice, beans, tomatoes, salsa, thyme and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 10-15 minutes or until flavors are blended.
