Round Steak Supper In One Dish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steaks (1-inch thick), cut in servings, 2 tsp. salt, dash of pepper, flour and 6 medium onions, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Season meat with salt and pepper and roll in flour.
Cook onions in hot fat until tender, but not brown.
Remove onions. Brown meat slowly on both sides.
Place meat in a 3-quart casserole.
Add onions, potatoes and bay leaf.
Pour soup over. Cover and bake in moderate oven at 350Β° for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
Add green beans and cook 10 to 15 minutes longer.
