Salsa is an easy dinner. Made with 8 tomatoes, 2 or 3 jalapeño peppers (whole), 1 clove garlic, 1 bunch cilantro and 1 white onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Broil tomatoes and peppers for 15 minutes.
Chop onion and cilantro in fine pieces. Blend tomatoes, peppers and garlic together.
After blending, add chopped onion and cilantro and mix. Salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate overnight before serving. Yields about 40 ounces.
