Sausage Muffins
Sausage Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage, butter or margarine, melted, 2 c. flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook sausage until browned and crumbled.
Drain well.
Reserve drippings.
Add butter to drippings to measure 1/4 cup; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in medium bowl.
Mix egg, milk and 1/4 cup reserved drippings; stir well.
Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened.
Stir in cheese and sausage.
Spoon batter into paper lined muffin pans. Bake at 375Β° for 18 minutes.
Remove from muffin pan immediately. Makes 1 dozen.
