Sloppy Joes For A Bunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. hamburger, 1/2 large onion, finely chopped, 3 tbsp. olive oil, 2 stalks minced celery (with leaves) and 1 jar manwich (thick and chunky), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown hamburger in the microwave and drain. Cook onion until tender in the microwave with olive oil and celery.
Place hamburger in crock-pot. Add remaining ingredients. Stir everything together in the crock-pot and taste. If it seems too sweet, add a little more vinegar. If it seems a little sour, add a little brown sugar. Cook in crock-pot until the olive oil comes to the top. Spoon off as much oil as you can. This should serve a lot of people. It freezes well. If you have a small group and you decide to make half the amount, leave out the Not So Sloppy Joe sauce and put in half of everything else.
