Smoked Sausage Chowder
Smoked Sausage Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Cook bacon in large saucepan until crisp.
Remove.
Add onions and cook until tender.
Pour off drippings.
Add potatoes, water, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Add milk, sausage and bacon; stir and heat slowly 10 to 12 minutes.
Serve.
