Spanish Noodles
Spanish Noodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. noodles (8 to 10 oz.), 1 qt. tomato juice, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 small can mushrooms and 1/2 lb. velveeta cheese, cubed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook noodles as instructed on package.
Drain.
Saute onion in margarine.
Stir in flour.
Then add tomato juice, mushrooms (in juice), sugar, salt and pepper.
Put noodles into 9 x 13-inch greased pan (or 2-quart casserole).
Add cheese cubes.
Pour tomato juice mixture over top.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until top is bubbly and lightly browned.
