Stay-Crisp Vegetable Slaw
Stay-Crisp Vegetable Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, 3/4 c. cold water, 8 c. shredded cabbage, 2 carrots, shredded and 1/2 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
Mix vegetables; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cold water.
Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in gelatin and cool until slightly thickened; beat well.
Gradually beat in oil.
Drain vegetables.
Add dressing and toss until coated.
It will keep for a few days in refrigerator.
