Stay-Crisp Vegetable Slaw
Stay-Crisp Vegetable Slaw is an impressive salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 36 minutes. Made with envelope unflavored gelatin, c. cold water, c. shredded cabbage, carrots, shredded and c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
Mix vegetables; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cold water.
Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in gelatin and cool until slightly thickened; beat well.
Gradually beat in oil.
Drain vegetables.
Add dressing and toss until coated.
It will keep for a few days in refrigerator.
