Steak Sandwich(Open Face)
Steak Sandwich(Open Face) is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. very lean ground beef, 1/4 c. milk, 1 tbsp. minced onion and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix well and set aside.
Toast 5 or 6 slices of bread in broiler.
Spread 1 side with a little butter and prepared mustard. Spread meat mixture evenly over this.
Make sure to get the meat to the very edge of bread because it will shrink away a little. There should be a good covering of meat, but not too thick. Broil just until meat is done.
Doesn't take long.
Important to use very lean hamburger so the grease doesn't soak up the bread. Very tasty and quick to make.
