Strawberry Ice Cream
Strawberry Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 egg, separated and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix first 3 ingredients in saucepan.
Add egg yolk and 1/4 cup milk; mix well.
Stir in rest of milk and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until thickened.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into freezer tray.
Freeze until almost firm.
Turn into mixing bowl and beat until creamy.
Add egg whites and beat until doubled in volume.
Fold in berries.
Refreeze.
Makes 8 servings.
