Sweet Potato Dumpling
Sweet Potato Dumpling is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 biscuits (homemade or canned), 2 c. sugar, 1 stick margarine, 10 slices raw sweet potatoes and 2 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Roll out individual biscuits.
Place thin slice of sweet potato on biscuit and pinch dough together.
Melt 1 stick margarine in 9 x 13 pan.
Place dumpling pinched side down in butter.
Boil water, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon until thickened.
Pour over dumplings.
Bake at 350Β° about 30 minutes or more if needed.
