Taco-Cheese Animal Crackers
Taco-Cheese Animal Crackers is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. all purpose flour, 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded taco-flavored cheddar cheese, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened and paprika, optional, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add flour, shredded cheese and butter.
Process until mixture forms a ball, stopping once to scrape down sides.
Wrap dough in heavy-duty plastic wrap; chill 30 minutes.
Unwrap dough and roll to 1/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut with 2 1/2 inch animal-shaped cookie cutters.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on wire racks.
Yield: 3 dozen.
