Tart Sweet Potato Apple Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium sweet potatoes, peeled, 2 c. thinly sliced apples, lemon juice, 1/2 c. brown sugar and dash of cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Slice potatoes in 1/2-inch rounds.
Cook in a small amount of water until almost tender.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Butter a shallow baking dish and make alternate layers of sweet potatoes and apple slices.
Sprinkle apple layers with lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon.
Dot with butter and pour water over all.
Bake 1 hour, or until potatoes are very tender.
Serves 8 to 10.
