Texas Barbecue Sauce
Texas Barbecue Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. melted butter, 1/4 tsp. red pepper, 1/2 pt. (1 c.) oil, 1/2 regular bottle worcestershire sauce and 1 large onion, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

This mixture makes enough for a half dozen chickens or thick steaks.
Rub meat well with salt and pepper.
Daub on the mixture with a mop made by wrapping a rag around a stick.
Baste almost continually as the meat is turned.
Use the surplus to pour over the meat for gravy.
