Whole Wheat Waffles
Whole Wheat Waffles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. unbleached flour, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 3/4 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. whole wheat flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Sift first 4 ingredients together into a large bowl.
Stir in whole wheat flour and wheat germ.
In another bowl, beat eggs. Blend milk and oil into beaten eggs.
Add milk mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened. Bake in a hot preheated waffle iron until steaming stops.
Serve warm with honey-butter.
