Winter Cole Slaw
Winter Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. thinly shredded cabbage, 1/2 c. finely shredded carrot, 1/2 c. finely chopped onion, 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper and 1/4 c. salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, onion and green pepper.
In a small pan, combine oil, vinegar, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, continue boiling for 2 minutes. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture and mix lightly.
Serve immediately.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
