Almond Rice Pilaf
Almond Rice Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sliced mushrooms, 1/4 tsp. oregano, 1/4 tsp. marjoram and 2 2/3 c. regular strength chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In large frying pan, melt butter over low heat.
Stir in rice, mushrooms, seasonings and green onion.
Cook, stirring, until onion and mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
Spoon mixture into lightly greased shallow 2-quart casserole (at this point, you may cover and chill).
Stir in broth and almonds and bake, covered, in a 325Β° oven for 1 hour.
(If chilled, allow 1 hour and 10 minutes.) Stir before serving.
Serves 6 to 10.
