Blackwood Hall Muffins
Blackwood Hall Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 4 tbsp. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat the oven to 400Β°.
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl. Add the shortening, egg and milk.
Stir with a fork until blended.
Rinse blueberries and drain them on paper towels.
Stir them into the dough until thoroughly mixed. Grease the bottom and sides of the muffin cups and fill 2/3 full with dough. Bake for 20 minutes.
Muffins will be golden brown when done.
Makes 12 muffins.
