Buttermilk Baked Chicken
Buttermilk Baked Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 5 medium chicken breasts, 1/2 c. buttermilk, 3/4 c. flour and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Preheat oven to 425Β°.
Melt margarine in skillet (one that can be put into oven).
Dip chicken in 1/2 cup buttermilk; roll in flour, salt and pepper.
Place in skillet and brown slightly on both sides, on top of stove, then bake in oven for 30 minutes. Mix soup and 1 cup of buttermilk.
Pour over chicken.
Return to oven and bake until tender.
